Fitness has become an essential piece of the lifestyle pie that is the 21st Century, with everyone participating in their own fad diet or insane workout routine, it's hard to find a way to keep up with it all. Personally, running and lifting are the furthest extent of my fitness regiment, and one thing I enjoy having for both activities are my tunes. Yes, you can have your phone on you, but that gets in the way, or you can have a smaller player that serves zero purpose outside of its utilization during a workout. Both seem quite arcane in this technologically driven world, which is the exact thought process that went into making the Pebble Core.
Pebble specializes in smart and mobile, with wearable tech that is compatible with your everyday needs, but the Pebble Core truly stands out in its field. This tiny black square, the same size as the iPod Shuffle, features onboard 3G/Bluetooth/WiFi connectivity that gives Core some badass functionality for its size. Bluetooth pairing so that you can listen to Spotify or connect to your fitness tracker, remotely uploading data to compatible fitness apps, and even GPS capabilities to truly gauge your workouts; also, it has an emergency SOS button, which paired with the GPS, will get authorities to your location quickly.
The Kickstarter project has only 36 days left of it's funding stage and has already quintupled the goal of $1 million. The Pebble Core comes to a $69 price tag, extremely competitive considering the onboard tech with this gadget. So if you're a fitness junky, looking to lose the extra junk, I strongly consider the Pebble Core!
