With the unofficial start of Summer officially here, its time to get your "beach bod" into some stylish swimwear for the next few months. It's perfectly fine to rock last year's duds, but the new wave of beachwear comes crashing in from the 70's. Geometric prints, color-blocking, or even a fresh new take on alphabetical design, dumbed down to the primary colors, makes a stunning statement as the mercury begins to rise. Part of the look will come from the bathing suit themselves, but to truly make them retro, it's going to take some extra curricular firepower from some vintage tees or grungy flannels to make this look come full circle. It may be a little late to get these in your suitcase for the long weekend, but the perfect time to prepare yourself for what I'm hoping will be one long summer!
